EngineFresh · Warehouse-native product analytics

See the whole customer journey.
Straight from your warehouse.

EngineFresh runs directly on BigQuery and Databricks, so you can explore funnels, retention, and the full customer journey without duplicating a single event. Set a threshold on any metric and we'll tell you the moment it moves.

Early, and built in the open with our first design partners.

01

We're currently onboarding a small group of design partners to help shape the product before a wider release.

02

Built first on BigQuery and Databricks, with Snowflake and Redshift support planned next.

03

Every query runs directly against your warehouse. We don't copy or store your event data.

Three things, done well.

Warehouse-native analytics

Point EngineFresh at your BigQuery or Databricks instance and start exploring immediately. No event pipeline to stand up, no separate copy of your data to maintain.

Customer journey mapping

See how people actually move through your product, from first touch to activation to churn, using the schema you already have.

Real-time alerts

Set a threshold on any metric and get notified the moment it moves, in Slack, email, or a webhook, before a small dip becomes a real problem.

Most analytics tools ask for a copy of your data. EngineFresh doesn't.

A typical product analytics tool asks you to install an SDK, stand up a pipeline, and send your event data to live on someone else's servers. EngineFresh skips all of that and reads your warehouse directly.

Connected in an afternoon, not a quarter.

Four steps, start to finish. No SDK to install, no pipeline to stand up, no data to migrate anywhere.

Connect your warehouse

Grant EngineFresh read-only, scoped access to the schemas and tables you choose in BigQuery or Databricks. Nothing is copied out, and you can revoke it at any time from your own provider console.

Model your metrics

Build a funnel, a retention window, or a journey map directly on the events and tables you already have. No new event format to adopt, no re-instrumenting your app.

Architecture

Your data never leaves your warehouse

EngineFresh queries BigQuery and Databricks directly. We don't ingest, copy, or store your event data on our servers.

Access

Read-only, scoped credentials

EngineFresh connects with the minimum access it needs, and nothing more. Revoke access at any time.

Compliance

SOC 2 Type II: in progress

We're pursuing SOC 2 Type II certification alongside our design partner program, targeting early 2027.

Deployment

Single-tenant option available

For teams with stricter requirements, EngineFresh can run in a dedicated, single-tenant environment.

Good questions people ask us.

Is EngineFresh open source?

No. EngineFresh is closed-source, and we're building it with security and compliance as a first-class concern from day one rather than bolting it on later. If that ever changes, we'll say so here.

How is this different from tools like Amplitude or PostHog?

Most product analytics tools want a copy of your event data sent to them. EngineFresh queries your BigQuery or Databricks warehouse directly, so your data stays exactly where it already lives, and you're not maintaining a second copy of it.

Do you support Snowflake or Redshift?

Not yet. We're launching with BigQuery and Databricks first. Snowflake and Redshift support are next on the roadmap.

What access does EngineFresh need to my warehouse?

Read-only, scoped credentials limited to the schemas you choose. You can revoke access at any time, and nothing is copied out in the meantime. More detail on our security page.

Can I self-host EngineFresh?

Not right now, EngineFresh is a hosted product. That said, because we never copy your event data out, most of what people want from self-hosting (data control, no lock-in) is already true by default.

When can I start using it?

We're onboarding a small number of design partners now. Request early access below and we'll reach out as we open up the next batch.

How much does it cost?

We haven't published a rate card yet, on purpose, since pricing is still being shaped with our design partners. See our pricing page for how we're thinking about it, including why it's not priced per tracked user.

What if my event data is messy or inconsistent?

EngineFresh queries the schema you already have, it doesn't require a specific event format. Messy data is still visible in the query results, which is arguably more honest than a tool that silently reshapes it behind the scenes.
